David Nicholas joined the world on April 16th! He weighed in at 6 lbs 3oz and was 19 inches long. We are so in love! He's super healthy and has a great appetite!
Christmas for David this year started out in Spokane, WA to see David's grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends! This was a trip to enjoy Brian's side of the family! We returned home in time to spend the actual Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at our house with my parents. It was wonderful to be home for Christmas! David received many cool gifts from his grandma and grandpa! The best gift we received as a family was a bike trailer! Now we can go biking again! I'm so happy! I had a hard time figuring out what to do for David's first Christmas ornament, so I decided to incorporate this bike trailer into things, because it definitely marks our first Christmas in my memory! This is what I came up with: Tomorrow I can finally finish it by sewing it together with some fabric. I love it! And the last picture... an outdoor swing indoors? Why not?! He LOVES his swing! Tonight I put him in it right before bed and in about ...
We're surviving! Natalie is growing so fast! But she's still very small for her age. In fact she's in the first percentile for size! She's 5 weeks old and just now the same size as David was when he was born. David loves being a big brother! Here are some pics of these two kids at about the same age. They could almost be twins! David is on the left, Natalie on the right.
Have you seen the latest Handwoven magazine? Notice anything yet? Look real close here at the bottom! I've been published!! (And yes, that is my picture with Crazy as a Loom's monkeys! It's one of my best shots...) Anyway... I'm on page 62!!! If I haven't already given birth this year, I would say this was the best day of 2014 so far! PS. The math of 260% should be 2600%, and in the copy they sent me last month to proof it was actually right! Someone changed it and now it’s wrong… but oh well! Hopefully nobody will notice….
